Tips for Applicants

If you are applying for a position, we recommend the following:

  1. Prepare for your application. Have your information readily available. Some applications can take a while and request a lot of information such as prior employers, and references.
  2. Read/review the application page for any instructions prior to beginning your application.
  3. Use a resume tailored to the position for which you are applying. Do not write “See Resume” if the company you are applying to has asked you to complete all fields.
  4. Review your application before submitting it to check for any spelling errors, or missing information.
  5. Don’t skip any required fields. This will result in an error when you submit. If a required field does not appear to apply to your situation, enter N/A or Not Applicable into the field. Required fields are indicated with a red asterisk *.
  6. Have a solid internet connection so you don’t lose your connection to the application.
  7. Make sure your browser allows cookies.
  8. Contact the HR department of the company you are applying to if you have specific questions about the position, or application materials.
