Pre-Screening Questions on the Application

If the company you are applying to has specific criteria for the advertised position you may see pre-screening questions at the beginning of the application form. Example:

Do you have X years of experience?     Yes/No
Do you have a driver’s license in the state of California?     Yes/No

These are Yes or No response questions used to determine if you meet the minimum requirements for the position.

If you do not meet the minimum requirements for that position you will not be able to submit an application.

If you do meet the position requirements the next step will be to do the employment application.

These questions are non-discriminatory and do meet compliance guidelines.
